Re: NAIAS 08: Fisker Karma
Did an interview with one of the principles of Fisker at the show. His german was thick but, luckily, my daughter was there to help translate german to english. They had a nice chat.
The expect the average american to plug this in nightly and it should only need one tank of gas per year!!?! I was impressed. They are going through all of the necessary approvals from the US Gov't. His hopes is that we will see this for sale, here in the states, around 2010. Mike Huckabee took a ton of shots when he said we should be energy independent within 10 years. If this keeps up, he could very well be right. Nice vehicle. Nice people.

Re: NAIAS 08: Fisker Karma
It's great car. Sexy styling and a German engineered. $80,000 I think is a right price for what it is, although I may be wrong.

Re: NAIAS 08: Fisker Karma
Pity. We really liked those folks. I do believe it was Henrik that we interviewed.
Well, if its true, he will learn the inner workings of the American Judicial System. A crash course on how intellectual property and patents are protected here, in America. Its a shame. Tesla should have taken the design. Its drop dead sharp.
