***Mühldorfer Stadtplatz Classic Car Show (Part 3)***

Here's Part III

Railton, a British car. Picture number 4 shows the owners favorite beer brand.

BMW 1602

Volkswagen "Schwimmwagen" Typ 166

Audi 80 Quattro: H O T

MG

DKW Junior

Mercedes-Benz 419 Firetruck: probably saw many years of service right here in this town!

Fiat Spider without the front bumper...

NSU TTS

Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 again...

Mercedes-Benz 300a "Adenauer"

Porsche Targa & a really ancient Ford!

Rally Porsche 924

Trabant: Made in East Germany yo!

Simca 1100 I believe. Looks like a Russian Lada for some reason, despite Lada generally using older Fiat body styles...

END OF PART III

Thanks! I love that Metz aerial ladder and the Benz 300a. Lots of cool history there...

The Railton looks very elegant.

I swear the DKW Junior was used in the movie The Incredibles (Mr. Incredible's car when he was working at the insurance company).

And cawimmer, looks like a missed opportunity to get a better shot of the blonde looking at the ancient Ford. You're slipping...

You're making me ask a "good question". Was DKW ever sold in the US? To my knowledge they didn't even make cars for the European market, only Germany.

I saw her. She was actually in her early 50s I think and she was the wife of the owner of the old Ford!

I've never seen or even heard of a DKW in the U.S., so I really doubt it was ever sold here.

As for the blonde, she looked good in the pictures for early 50's, but I understand that distance may be her friend.

She was actually quite attractive for a 50 year old. Her skin was still great and she had really beautiful facial features. She must have been stunner when she was younger. Well she still is, for her age.
