"La Nuova Fiat Croma" - Updated Croma hits the Net

Here is some info and pics of the newly updated Fiat Croma. Remember it resides on the GM sourced Epsilon platform.

I think they pulled off the look. It incorporates enough from the Bravo and makes it unique.

Too bad they don't offer this as a sedan -- if they did and it came Stateside, it would make a nice mid-sized offering.

Also, for nut jobs like me, take a look at the center console; they have the key slotted between the seats. This isn't new by any means --- it was on there on the original model before the refresh --- but find it an interesting move. Perhaps this is something of a throwback to the days when Fiat cooperated with Saab to product the 9000, Alfa 164, Lancia Thema and the previous Croma? Just a thought... hahaha

It worked on the Grade Punto and the Bravo but not on this one. I think this is too big and too tall.

PS. I actually like it, I always liked the Croma, but the new nose compliments it even better. I am happy to see they are not giving up on it - it is a really good all-around family car. Too bad they didn't build a 4x4 version and call it Lancia Lambda or Gamma...

Love that interior brown color... Pity NA cars make do with just gray/black. That gallery has some nice pics. Chalk up one more for "wish we got that car over here"...
