A rather meaningless composition of well-known facts and popular cliches. I hate it when journalism = filling out empty colums.
One good point he makes is that when engineers run a car company, nothing good comes out of it. Another example - VAG. As to Fiat not having success in large cars - obvious. I believe the Lancia turnaround should start with a stab at the midsize/compact executive class, with a Passat-rivalling sedan, be it on the Alfa Premium Epsilon or Croma Epsilon platform, or on the stretched Bravo's (after all, Passat is now back to being a larger Golf) chassis - but not the pregnant tapir-shaped minivan nobody wants. |
