Pictures from ALMS@Mosport! (and some extras, 56k warning!)

Some pictures from ALMS at Mosport this past weekend. The Corvettes and Ferraris sounded as amazing as ever. Competition will be GREAT next year in both prototypes and GT, if this race is any indication.

And here are some other pictures from around the paddock and in the corrals.

Thanks for sharing ..................I always like the paddock pictures that help capture the atmosphere. Hopefully I'll see it in person at Road Atlanta.

Ok... dumb, non-raising guy question:

A few people are carrying American flags. Is this an ALMS thing?

come on!! The Corvettes Deserves the American Flag!! Its true Red white and blue!!

In America, most public events are doused with patriotic displays, football games etc.. the local fair, Its normal for guys to fly a flag at their doorway sometime, in neighbourhoods...
Guys love their country and flag around here, unlike most western country where nationalism is discouraged by PC attitudes.

Yeah, I get that much...

But is there is a reason why some people are carrying them around wearing Ferrari outfits at a Canadian venue? Racing thing maybe?

The flag being carried by a given team is the country of which the team is from.

Rahal-Letterman BMW team is from the USA, as is Risi/Ferrari of Houston. The Lowe's/Fernandez Acura is from Mexico. (Just as an example)
