Love him or hate him; good to see Tony get a win in his last season, sure been a rough couple years.

Interesting race last night at Daytona. It had a little bit of everything during the race. Keselowski was strong all night, but I still feel that the package they've run at plate tracks the past few years needs some tweaking. Too hard to pass alone and sometimes even with help.

I've stopped watching, tired of Penske and JGR winning every week.

Re: The Official NASCAR 2016 Thread

Road course races are far more entertaining these days than they ever were. I think a combination of drivers being more comfortable and the new Chase format, helps that.

I see where Bristol is trying some things to get more racing in the lower (old) groove. Let's hope it works. The racing excitement hasn't been at Bristol since they re-poured the track almost 10 years ago.

Finally a Chevy sweep for the weekend.

It was cool to see Tony get to do a final burnout at Bristol with Harvick, it would have been even cooler if he'd finished better than 30th.

Glad to see Harvick win on Sunday. Would've been nice to see Stenhouse win in the Brian Clauson tribute car, if Harvick couldn't have done it. The 3 car seems to be gaining momentum and running stronger each week. Busch Beer got a win, finally, after a string of bad luck when sponsoring the 4 car this year. When's the last time Busch Beer was on a race-winning Cup car? Early 80's, maybe?

Should be a good race today in Michigan. The lower low downforce package will be utilized again. It has made for very good racing in the few races they've run it this year. Hope they do indeed run this package next year everywhere except plate tracks. Maybe even take some more downforce away.

Good race at Elkhart Lake yesterday. First time in ages I've watched a Busch series race. Michael McDowell is a good guy, glad to see him finally get a W.

Hopefully Chase or Jimmie can get it done today. HMS really needs some momentum going into the Chase. It's been a horrible year for them, one of the worst in memory from an on-track performance standpoint.

Real close, another second at Michigan for Chase and Jimmie had a solid top-10. Good to see Kyle Larson finally get his first Cup Series win.

Very good race. Awesome win for Larson, for sure! Now for RCR to break the drought.

Anyone making the trip to Darlington this weekend? We had a great time last year and the throwback stuff this year should be even better. Lot of great schemes and events planned.

Sucks that a throwback scheme hasn't won during the throwback weekend.

I stopped watching with 5 to go when I realized Harvick wasn't going to reel him back in. They really need to do something with their pit crews at SHR.
