My future NASCAR idea

in the cup series, have the mustang, camaro, and challenger race against each other. and keep the body just about completely stock. but instead of having only two road courses a season, why not like 6 during the "regular" season, and 3 for the chase. i think this would provide more exciting racing.

Here's another novel idea. Abandon the "playoffs" format and let people have to win races to stay on top.

They already will be using your idea for the Busch series in 2009?

You must be easily fooled. Money talks in NASCAR; I am not sure they're capable of such change.
I'll believe it when I see it.

Very true...they have been working for so long to make Nascar what it is (which i dont care for anymore) that taking steps back to some a bit more..well..cool, like the idea mentioned above, just seems like it would never happen. But id love it if it did! If not Nascar, there needs to be legit stock car races...aside from weight managment and safety issues, keep the cars as stock as possible, keep them running factory power-train (beefed up a little ofcourse)...itd get my interest, and I can imagine alot of other people's as well.

Re: My future NASCAR idea

I might actually watch it if this were to happen, and on road corses instead of the left turn track.

It was posted on Nascar.com as in planning. Theyre waiting for the Challenger and Camaro to come out it said.

Thats such a stupid question I dont even know how to answer that!
Youve got to undertand racing started on dirt tracks(still is) with cars just sliding sideways to go around the corners, kicking dirt and mud in your face at full throttle 80 mph.

nascars problems right now arent the cars or the tracks. Its the extreme over advertising starting to go on, how the races are managed, cautions, how many cars with the same team, The chase.
