Re: Kevin Harvick wins the 500!!!
Toyota had a rough start in Nextel Cup with their top driver finishing 23rd.

Re: Kevin Harvick wins the 500!!!
Great win for Harvick and Chevy!!! I was pulling for Martin towards the end though, especially with him being in a Chevy this time.
Does GM Goodwrench not sponsor Harvick's car anymore?? I was thinking at first this was a one race deal with Shell, but after they started talking about Harvick's new colorful helmet, I got the impression that Shell will be his sponsor all year long. I hope I am wrong!!!

I was pretty dissappointed tonight. I was so psyched all day, and got everything I needed to get done early so I could watch. My kids were nuts the whole race, and Jr got caught in that wreck with 7 to go! What a night. It was an interesting ending though!!!

Re: Kevin Harvick wins the 500!!!
I was really hoping Mark would win too. He certainly has earned it over the years. But Im also glad Harvick won as the company I have worked for going on 19yrs is the major associate sponsor this year. RHEEM MFG. WooHoo!! Too bad Im a peeon and will never get any tickets from the company. LOL.
See the round red & white Rheem decal on the lower rear quarter? ![]() ![]() ![]() I had stopped watching NASCAR several years ago out of disgust with rules and the fact that Pontiac dropped out. Now I have reason to watch again. |

Re: Kevin Harvick wins the 500!!!
I really wish Mark won, I was so excited. I was sad he left Roush in Cup, but the Bobby Ginn Chevys seem to be getting stronger as he pours more money into the team. Wished Denny had a better race, as well Boris got sucked up at the end (he had a desent weekend).

Re: Kevin Harvick wins the 500!!!
Great race.
I just finished watching Wind Tunnel and can not believe the outcry over the outcome of the race because the yellow wasn't dropped during the last lap crash. Apparently there is a fix going on... I thought the right call was made. Had the accident happened in turns 1 or 2, they should have thrown it, but with the whole field bunched up at the end, NASCAR was right to let them race until the end. Heck, there is even footage that shows that Harvick was in front when Busch started to skid, so technically he would have been in had the flag been waved because of the accident. |
