Going to the Indy 500! PIX/VIDs ADDED

Leaving the "East Coast" tomorrow to head to Indianapolis!

I've never been to a big-time race before, just local events...so going to the Indy 500 is an excitingly rare thing for me.

And I'm FLYING there. I don't fly. I gave it up back in '99. Which meant that the two times since that I had to go to California it was by train one time and by car the other.

So...I'm nervous, of course. The Xanax should help with that, though.

Look for me on TV!! I'll be the white guy in the crowd!

Anyone else going??

Going to the 500 is awesome, I have been 3 times, and will be there Sunday also. I usually go to all the big 3 races, 500, F1, & Brickyard 400. I have a really good connection for getting tickets for events so I try to go to all of that stuff. Plus living 15 minutes from the track dosent hurt! Hope you have a good time, there is a slight chance for rain though, I would hate to have drove all this way and get rained out. Either way, I hope you have fun!

Enjoy! I know a few people from here who left early this morning to drive to Indy ... it's an annual ritual for them.

I watched the Indy 500 on TV ... quite an interesting race, despite the rain delay.
