Exclamation FOTA To Break Away From F1

Quote:
The Formula One Teams' Association have sensationally confirmed they are to form a breakaway series, causing the greatest upheaval in the sport's 60-year history.

Following a meeting of the eight teams that currently form FOTA - Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Toyota, BMW Sauber, Brawn GP, Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso - they have all declined to enter F1 for 2010.

I'll believe it when I see it. During the FISA/FOCA wars almost 30 years ago, everyone thought that Formula 1 was finished as the world knew it. But graudally tempers cooled, compromises were reached, and Formula 1 continued.

I'm sure eventually something like another Concorde Agreement will happen that will keep the peace for another three decades. Only time will tell.

This will be identical to the IndyCar and IRL thing of a few years ago. Not enough money to spread around...

All better now. I love Mosely's threat - if you don't agree with me, I wont resign and hang around longer to annoy you - if you do agree with me I'll leave.

I'm sure my 7 year old could do better...
