Re: New GM-Canada deal
Yes, he does, but he's not at liberty to discuss it :p.
Considering there are 3-4 cars slated for Flex, I HIGHLY doubt any sort of bigger volume car would be run there (alongside the Camaro, just a set of middle volume cars, a la Camaro, G8, LaCrosse, STS, etc.), so methinks the Malibu is out, and something from another brand is in. I have an inkling (well, two technically, so long as I'm thinking of somewhat classic names) as to what it is, and if it is either of the ones I think it is, and lives up to either name, I'll be happy. |

Re: New GM-Canada deal
These 2010 Malibu will be on EPII chassis. Sound like too me there is going to be two RWD car's build alone side of the camaro and these fwd car. It also sounds like there will be either ZETA Platforum cars with BAS+ system or Two Mode Hybrid System?

Re: New GM-Canada deal
Supposing it starts with an E, it will probably be a Buick Electra, which will replace the Buick Lucerne? If not that then maybe a Cadillac Eldorado which would replace the DTS/STS?

Re: New GM-Canada deal
Lets think about this, 10-12 years ago St Catherns was GM's top plant, making A Body cars Cenutry's and such.. Then poof you are making really good cars, so we are going to switch the Van Iyes assembly plant to you for the all new "F body" car.
Where is the F body? and where is the St Cathern's plant today? |
