Re: GM Planning Buick Regal Concept?
True, but I never heard of a crossover or suv that was considered a flagship of any brand. Of course thats with the exception of brands like Hummer and Land Rover, since they only sell suv's and crossovers.

Likewise, unless the Zeta Park Avenue or some other high-end sedan is released and becomes a hit, the Enclave is/will become Buick's flagship. |

Not sure how GM will work the LeSabre name back into the Buick line but I know of at least a dozen LeSabre owners who either have not bought a new car or bought a competitor's just because Buick does not offer the LeSabre. Maybe they can offer a SWB Zeta LeSabre in place of the LWB Park Avenue and let Cadillac offer the Park Avenue as a DeVille or SLS (although I prefer the Park Ave to stay a Buick). A Buick line of Skylark, Regal, LeSabre or Skylark, Century, Regal, LeSabre, Park Avenue would appeal to existing Buick owners with little impact on "conquest" buyers - but GM has not figured that out yet. But since it is too late to change the LaCrosse name, I can see a strong market for a line of Skylark, Regal, LaCrosse, LeSabre and Park Avenue and hopefully that is what we will get. Re: GM Planning Buick Regal Concept?
Regal will likely be built in US, along with Malibu and LaCrosse. At least that is what I have been hearing.
Don't know if any of you have driven a LaCrosse yet, but my oh my.... Last edited by FairfaxGirl : 06-27-2009 at 01:57 AM. |
