Spied Dodge Challeneger with diffrent hood

Hi guys while I was hoping for a sneak peek of the EV's (which didn't happen) I did get a shot of this dodge challenger R/T as a consolation prize. This was the only shot I could get and this car did have manufacturers plate. Note the different hood scoop on this one (it's the first challenger I've seen with this particular scoop) enjoy

I've always hated those hoods.

The scoup on the original challenger is one of the best ever, but the new one seems too rounded. Of course, it is important to see items, not just look at photos on a screen.

I'm usually not a fan, but I'm liking that hood. Even though they're sort of gimmicky, I like shaker hoods too.

Progress is when you bring back a legend, only the legend is 500lbs heavier than it was 38 years ago.

Maybe, just maybe someone modified their Charger? Gosh that guy has some balls. Manufacturer plates don't mean anything either, it could be a dealer testing accessories.

Here in Michigan dealer and manufacturer plates are different. Manufacturer plates are usually all numbers and they have a little upper case M in the middle whereas dealer plates have letters and numbers in them and have a little upper case D in the middle. This one did have a manufacturers plate but it probably belonged to a higher up employee. As for the scoop it's a Mopar accessory thats available for purchase. This just happens to be the first time I've seen a current gen Challenger with this hood. Normally The Challengers i see have the hood scoops that are factory issued and I personally like those better than the shaker hood

Its just the Challengers (not Chargers as I originally said) seem to be modified in my area. Then again there is a guy down the street with modifications on his Ferrari that cost more than the car.

De Niro, Pacino and Nicholson...each could be considered a legend...none in the shape they were 30-40 years ago..but they can still put on one hell of a show, can they not?

The Challenger of yesterday was not loaded full of the options that the consumers of today demand. Its the price you pay when you expect a car loaded with safety features, creature comforts, and unnecessary options to cater to pure laziness and "me too" mentalities.

Ya dig?

That car has been spotted several times before and most people think the scoop is actually hiding a supercharger. Dodge definitely needs more power for their top of the line model if they want to compete with the other muscle cars.

could be, before Duspinnst left here he did mention that Chrysler was working on a Challenger that would have more horsepower maybe this is the mule that he was talking about. However according to his description the challenger mule in question had quad exhausts and i was unable to confirm that

I seriously doubt they'd need the clearance. Take a look at a Hemi intake, they're very tall. I'm betting a twin-screw supercharger with an intercooler would be shorter than that intake.
