I am sick of FIAT...
IF IT AINT RWD; AND A CHEVY I DONT RIDE IT!!!!!
ALL CHEVY'S NEED TO BE RWD!!!!!
Why? is it because thier Curren/Future products and even "rumors" are more interesting than anything from GM?
Stop it!,didn't you read the rumors about the GNX & GN? the speculation about all the things that Alpha can possibly be?,the rumblings about a "sportier Malibu",or the Lacrosse GS w/AWD?,the V-series XTS,ATS?. There is so so much rumor and speculation going on with GM product right now that it trumps anything that FIAT and the Barracuda have to offer in rumor/speculation dept!.
Sad thing is is that the Barracuda will be out for 3 years before GM has even 10% of what we all rumorize about if any of it at all, seeing how quickly projects are cancelled or changed due to fuel prices.

this is all within 2013-2015 and what makes it better, there are FEW leaks of these new products and whatever Mules we seen would look nothing like the final product. Its like Area 51 at Chrysler right now. Many of these projects are in the works, some will be "Changed", Non are canceled.
XTS isnt getting a V treatment, why waste the time and money making a V out of F/Awd Large sedan thats already said to be a stopgap?. The GS Lacross.. the last wwe heard of that was almost 2 years ago with the spy shots it turned out to be a Concept of a Higher Trim, GM said the GS will never happen. if so, its not gona be any better than the GS Regal. the only thing GM has going for themselfs is the new Vette its Motor, the "Limited" SS , Pickups/SUV's (with the Caddy being the only noteworthy SUV) and maybe the GN Series.

fakeout (12-03-2012)
Thanks for the timetable update. Seems very ambitious and if alfa ever gets here it will be a long anticipated release. I'm an alfa fan from the 60s!

I hang out on ChallengerTalk, the expectation right now is that '14 will be a mild update (turbo V6 perhaps, maybe a nose change) but not a full mid-cycle refresh.
They need to revise the GC/Durango to get 5 stars on the NHTSA crash test cycle. As it stands I recommend people go for the Lambda or Explorer/Flex instead because of the GC's poor crash test scores.
The Crash ratings are not THAT bad for a SUV. remember its a SUV not a Crossover. Its a 4 Overall, 4 Frontal Crash (male 5 female 4), 5 Side Impact, 4 Rollover on NHTSA and a "Good" rating on IIHS
http://www.iihs.org/ratings/rating.a...8&seriesId=341
"The U.S. Government awarded 2012 Jeep® Grand Cherokee with the 5-Star overall side crash rating+, its highest designation, thanks to over 45 available safety and security features.
In addition to the 5-Star overall side crash rating, the 2012 Grand Cherokee also received:
5-Star combined side barrier and pole rating for front seat+
5-Star combined side barrier and pole rating for rear seat+
5-Star side barrier rating for driver front seat (male)+
5-Star side barrier rating for passenger rear seat (female)+
5-Star side pole rating for driver front seat (female)+
5-Star frontal barrier crash rating for driver (male)"
where in the world did you get your Info from?

Changes to the 300 and Charger already? These things just came out and they are moving this quickly to improve on them? At the rate they're going, people holding off for the next year model additions will never be able to buy one at the rate they are making these changes. Way to keep the cars fresh though and something GM really needs to learn and wrap their hands around if they want to stay competitive in any segments they come out ahead in.
SRT AWD Dart? Seriously? Hahah, AWD in a compact like that will own the Ford Focus ST and Buick Verano Turbo.
Wish they had news on a Fiat 159 AWD wagon for North America. But I'm kind of sick of even talking about wagons anymore. The U.S. has just abandoned the idea.

SM already confirrmed the Barracuda, He says hes going after the 70s style in a futuristic design.
159 aka Guilia Wagon will likely happen but Sedan will come 1st. Thats the RWD Sedan. they said it will NOT be a Entry level sports sedan but it will thousands less than the 328i. Model is said to be slated between the 3 and 5 Series BMW.
its just Facelifts as far as i know, The transfermation to the LA platform could happen around 2016-17. Cars came out in 2011 so In 2016 the LX Sedans would be the oldest models in Chrysler-Fiat line up, so a 2014 facelift is needed
