Do you think that there's enough space, under the hood, to put an 8 in it?

Chrysler says no, but if you can put one in an RX-7, Miata, Solstice, etc I'm sure someone has gotten a V8 under the hood of one.

Re: Plymouth Appreciation Thread

My 1995 Neon just broke the 350,000 mark going back to Quebec from Georgia yesterday... kilometers, though, not miles. Much less impressive when you convert that to ~220,000 miles. But it's still going strong, so it might reach better numbers eventually.

My 1969 Roadrunner is in a tight storage area --been there forever-- so I can't take pics as the walls are too close to the car (I did try over the years), but when I'll get around to put the engine back in place, it should look more or less like those:

Re: Plymouth Appreciation Thread

The late 1960s and early 1970s were great for pretty much all Mopar lines (A-, B-, C-, and E- all look fantastic IMHO). 1968-1971, mostly.

One of the most expensive cars out there is a Plymouth: 1971 Hemicuda 4-speed convertible. About 10 of them out there, IIRC... They were already worth over a million bucks each in the early 2000s. Basically this, but with a soft top.

Well you could always turbo charge it.

I remember a buddy buying one and give the keys over to some friends to drive.

They didn't even take it around the block and brought it back, unimpressed.

A buddy of mine had one of those when we were in high school. A rod let loose when we were on the highway trying to pass someone. We were 4 hours from home on the way back from a ski trip and had to wait for his brother to come pick us up.

Here is the Plymouth that I want...

my brother has a customer that's selling one in decent shape for $50k. In reality he should probably beg, borrow, or steal the money to get it for that price

thats basically my number one dream car. i love the fact it was designed solely for the purpose of winning nascar races (back when nascar meant something) and was only sold to the public so that it would be eligible to race.

ive seen those cars easily reach over 100,000 at auctions.
