Chrysler To Turn Vehicles Into Wireless Hotspots

I think its a cool idea but it will go extinct like in car phones did, why would you get this option when you can just buy a wireless broadband card for your laptop?

Chrysler has so many other things it needs to work on.

Car internet is the last thing I expect.

Because one card for one device. No Nintendo DS or other gaming, no multiple laptops.

In other words I think this is a great idea.

that's what I was thinking too...Wifi, Sirius TV, swivel/go, heated/cooler cupholders, etc are cool but become the only cool things on an otherwise uncompetitive vehicle

Good point, but I feel this will only have limited appeal. I wonder what the monthly cost will be?
