Chrysler A segment car project update (with pic)

Hi guys Remember the thread A Clue started awhile back regarding a New A segment car based on the popular Fiat 500? Well Today I happened to get a shot of this truck unloading a green Fiat 500 from its trailer. The bushes and trees prevented me from getting a clean shot of the little Fiat but if you look carefully you can see the little Fiats roof and some of its left side. The Fiat in question wasn't altered in any way but this is at least visual confirmation that this project is up and running and is in the early stages of development.

So Chrysler would be building a car off the same platform as Ford, the Ka. I wonder how much GM money is in this platform?

Too bad you didn't run over and shoot the picture over the bushes! Do you think they would have beat you up? What you got was useless, another "Big Foot" like nothing.

A Fiat 500 with a scaled-down Avenger face, a crappy interior that has plastic harder than diamonds, et al? I guess it's the thought that counts...

Isn't there a chance that this is related to Fiat perhaps returning to the US instead of Chrysler actually offering something smaller than an Aspen?

Lets just say Chrysler security doesn't like me very much. (I've had a few guards give me mean looks and one overzealous guard escort me out in the past) and there was security near the truck (They were on the other side of the trailer). Also the truck is technically in a private area and If I ran up to the bushes or drove up right next to it I would have been detained for trespassing, have my 200 dollar camera seized, and get thoroughly yelled at. When I shoot pics for here and other sites I try and do things as fairly as possible meaning I don't trespass and I also stay on public roads or land. (Chrysler drive is considered a public road) That way security stays away from me and I can live to shoot another day. Also this pic isn't "nothing" so to speak if anything this is confirmation to what A clue said in his previous thread about this particular project.

[quote=baby-vortec2900;1500940]How can you tell what that is? Yes its a car but that all I can get from it.[/QUOTE

To answer your question Baby Vortec before I shot that pic I drove around once and took a good look at the car as i drove by. When I did that I saw that it was indeed a Fiat 500 and I also saw that security was monitoring the area very closely. When I came back around to attempt a shot I discovered that taking the pic would be a challenge because of the way the truck was parked and also I could not get a good view for the camera from either side of Chrysler drive because of the trees and bushes and the fact that If I went up to where the truck was I'd be forced to go into a parking garage (that has security gates which are off camera) so I had to take what conditions I had and go for it. For the record I did try and shoot out the passenger window but unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot. Anyway If I see any other signs of this project or any other Chrysler tester for that matter I'll shoot it and post it here or send it to BP (whichever comes first)

That is just about right. This will be another Chrysler product that has nothing to offer.
