Remember when Chrysler had the money to make great concepts? Like the Atlantic and the Chronos? Then 1998's fallout happened and, well, you see what we have here.

I personally liked the ZEO but i was never a big fan of the ecovoyager and renegade. And I do remember the time when Chrysler had the financial resources to create some truly unique concepts. Still it was really cool to see them out and about

Re: Chrysler NAIAS triplets shot at Chrysler museum (56k warning)

Chrysler concepts used to be what everyone waited for prior to the big Detroit show. From the late '80s to the late '90s, they were the star. Big, bold, beautiful designs like the Chronos (along with Buick's 2000 LaCrosse, one of my favorite concept cars ever), the Citadel (what the Pacifica should have looked like) and the jaw-dropping Atlantic, blew people away. Even the Airflite concept was cool, but was destroyed when it mutated into the current Sebring sedan. Why didn't Chrysler ever capitalize on those gorgeous concepts, especially their interior designs?

The Zeo is beautiful. I would be so very excited to see it in production. The Jeep isn't my kind of vehicle, but I know some people would love it. The Chrysler ...is kinda strange.

I saw the Atlantic in person years ago at the Milwaukee auto show (along with the EV1 and that skateboard thing). Stunning.

I love the EcoVoyager and Zeo, not the Jeep. I hope the EcoVoyager gets produced if there is any money left over after Nardelli's golden parachute gets deployed.
