I can't see much, look forward to a better view. I hope it is VERY different from the current model.

It looks like the production version of the Bob Lutz 1999 Charger Concept.

that chrysler should've built from the start Go mopar can't wait to see better views or perhaps prototypes though the fact that Fiats "virtual technology" will eliminate the S0 build stage (which will make my job as a simple spy photog alot harder) since it would seem that only leaves the S1 and S2 build stage

Ya, that's what I was thinking. Looks much sleeker than the rather bloated current one. I didn't know it was in the pipeline to get a major facelift. I'm excited to see what's coming.

Re: 2011 Dodge Charger

thats very close to the showcar from years back.. Its an american icon destined for greatness especially with the 6.4 liter HEMI!

Can't wait to see the rest of this four door beauty...

If the rest of this vehicle is anything like the side view we're seeing...Dodge has a winner..

ford, GM and all the imports will pale in comparision!

Re: 2011 Dodge Charger

This should've been the current Charger on the first place
Probably if Chrysler kept its promises things could've been a bit diferrent.

Re: 2011 Dodge Charger

the existing charger srt/8 is a cool looking ride too...

It won't save chrysler but it will be a hit.

The new one is looking pretty dam sharp..

I'd bet dodge brand would have melted away had it not been for this dodge in the pipeline...

what else do they have in the existing pipeline besides this thats worth a dam?

dodge will become rebadged fiats on the low end...the challenger and charger up a bit higher...with the new" viper releasing in 2012 for the high end..

Add a few chrysler minivans...a more luxurious 300C and maybe a sebring.. and you've got the chrysler dodge Jeep showrooms..

Slap a few "euro designed" alfa romeos and call it a day..

Sound like a good plan if the dealer network can last till the new products start to hit..

I bet it'll be a bloodbath at the dealer level till these new products hit...and there will be even more chrysler dealers closing unless the corporation runs a fire sale for the next two years?

Like I said...I'm definitely digging this new charger..

Just hope they don't close down before it gets to production..

+1 but what if they sold the tooling rights to another carmaker?

Re: 2011 Dodge Charger

I personally believe fiats cost to puchase chrysler was so low..(nothing) that they can afford to keep it on life support for two years..

The only thing that is an issue is will...the dealer network be alive and breathing..

I don't believe the tooling etc would be sold off...which is too bad..

I'd have to say...if I were in the market for a four door sports sedan...from what I can tell...the 2012 dodge charger srt/8 looks to be a top choice..

Re: 2011 Dodge Charger

If they can capture the essence of this concept, while delivering a Taurus-level interior, and both twin-turbo V6 and Hemi powertrains, they might have the brand's savior.
