It is so exciting, all from a company that was so close to the brink, but before it failed it's CEO Nardelli worked and completed a partnership agreement with FIAT.

GM is still old culture locked and burning cash so fast I don't see how anything can change in enough time to turn it around. If this is the case I will be saddened but understand the reasons companies fail: atrophy, arrogance and denial.

Dont be so quick to write GM off, look how well Ford is doing with less brands and a main focus on Ford cars. They have improved by leaps and bounds. I think you will see the same rejuvenation of Chevrolet, Buick and Caddy in short order.

All Chrysler needs is good product and then they can start fast tracking back to the black. With Fiat tech and a proven room of board members (in past experiences anyway..Kidder is no push-over, not even to Marchionne), I am confident that they will be fine.

We will all see first hand next Wednesday.

Re: 2011 Chrysler 300 mule spotted

went by CTC just now apparently that mule has something to do with 2011 model because Fiatsler security has a man at the entrance to the parking lot where the mule was shot obviously due to yesterdays events

I am not writing GM off and do not want to; I prefer to stir them to action! The World isn't inert, that is all I am saying.

Re: 2011 Chrysler 300 mule spotted

I can't wait for November 4th to come around to see all of the products that Fiat/Chrysler have planned for the next few years. I know we will not be seeing pictures of the new cars but when I hear about new stuff like an 8 Speed Auto, it gets pretty exciting. It just builds the anticipation of when we will actually see the cars.

Most notably, I can't wait to see the new Charger. As some auto journalists have reported it may the best 4 door sedan they've seen come out of Detroit in a LONG time.

I can't wait...

I want to see the new Charger also. SO bad actually. It better not be a let down. I think Chrysler and Fiat have a lot under their sleeves and are keeping it hush hush for now. I see nothing but good coming out of the fiat merger. At least Fiat wants to help Chrysler and SHARE its technology, unlike Benz.

Re: 2011 Chrysler 300 mule spotted

Finally some signs of life.

I wouldn't worry too much about the body being the same as the current 300; it's a mule. No one has seen the actual new Explorer, for example.

If they can make such big sedans hit the 30MPG mark they will have done an excellent accomplishment. Only question is whether more credit will go to Fiat or Chrysler...

I fervently await this car as I'm not holding my breath for anything similar from GM or Ford.

It's not new to see test mules with only slight modifications. When spy shots of the 2009 Ram were being taken, they were nothing more than 2008 trucks with a new front end. It's just something they do.

same thing with the new GC it's normal for automakers to do that and it's a trademark habit of chrysler when a new model is undergoing early testing most of the time

probably, I wouldn't expect a revolving door of new product reveals but there's a good chance that at least one or both of the LY cars will make an appearance seeing as how they are supposed to be chryslers make it or break it model

So is this new 8 speed transmission possibly the same one used in the new BMW 7 series.
