310hp LS1?

If the speedo goes up to 170, do you believe that too?

I want one so bad but I want to see the sky. I will be paying much for a car in two years and it will either be a vette or SSR if I can't get a new conrvtible or glass roof Challenger...

Grrrr...I might settle but I don't know it depends if I have money to buy an older vette and if I get rid of the Durango for a newer one.

Its so exciting, will they die? Will they have good product?

Unfortunately CJ:

There is so much we cannot know, if our dollar--now not the worldwide reserve currency, falls much lower, inflation will cause everything to go up exponentially! There are rumors circulating that the USA is making preparations for a 12 hour Air strike on a foreign nation to take out their nuclear capability. This is being spread by the Russians and reported throughout Europe. If this is true, everything else is moot, because only the VOLT or Prius will sell!

I pray everything remains and we can look forward to the Great Cars just ahead.

Meanwhile, the Challenger IS gorgeous but too heavy and WAY overpriced vs. the SS. Between the SS and next year's Mustang, how can the Challenger expect to sell?
I don't see your point? You're criticizing GM for being in the toilet, saying Chrysler and Ford are not, but then ask how the Challenger will beat GM's Camaro when it's engine is made in Mexico and it's made in Canada? Read this:

Challenger: Made in Canada
HEMI: Made in Mexico
Engineered: America using German Tech

Camaro: Made in Canada
LS3: Made in Canada
Engineered: Australia using Australian Tech

Chrysler is nearly 70% owned by the UAW and 20% by Fiat. Although that is subject to change, that is how it is now. So the Challenger has as much to do with Detroit, (Auburn Hills anyways), as the Camaro does.

Dodge never intended to use the Challenger to destroy the Mustang or Camaro. It's just their offering in the Pony Car segment. People will still buy the Challenger because it's the most retro of the 3 and it has a HEMI.

If it's not for you then don't buy one. But those who like it will buy it and that's all that matters. The addition of a 392 HEMI would help to solidify that.
