Questions about the fate of the fuel-efficient gas-electric version of the half-ton Ram were raised in June, when General Motors filed a motion against Chrysler in bankruptcy court seeking payment for development and production costs related to the Two-Mode Hybrid powertrain that Chrysler co-developed with GM and other partners. GM is Chrysler’s Two-Mode transmission supplier for the Dodge Ram 1500 Hybrid. According to court records, GM has withdrawn that complaint.

In October 2008, Chrysler stopped producing Two-Mode Hybrid versions of the Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen SUVs...

Judging by the picture this is an older picture as the leaves haven't fully fallen yet.

that pic is somewhat old. That pic (part of a set on leftlane news) was shot in early summer. That was when the first testers were beginning to emerge. I see loads of them at CTC mostly in blue or black but I've seen hybrids sporting red and white color schemes in the past.

The picture isn't the news....it's the fact that it's still on. Chryslers ability to pay for the technology was thrown into question this summer.

hopefully they can but based on what has been revealed about there finances I would not be too shocked if chrysler is unable to pay for it. However all is not gloom and doom I've begun seeing Chrysler owned equinoxes and genesis sedans running around CTC. Hopefully these two developments mean that chrysler is finally getting serious about sampling the competition and make a car that can legitimately take on the competition
