2009 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Series 5 Debuts On Woodward Avenue

Chrysler just unveiled their latest special edition PT Cruiser, the Dream Cruiser Series 5. Sure is black and white and billet-grilled. At least it packages everything up and gives you the turbo for pretty cheap, only 1,750 available starting in October

I Honestly thought they had stopped making these!

Are they going to cling to this little sucker forever? The interior sucks in 'em,
not to mention the room compared to the much better HHR.

Yeah, but trucks usually operate on a 6 year cycle. This is a car...thingy.

Sad thing is, the interior on this much older car is WAY better than on the much new Caliber.

Whatever. I own a 2008 Caliber and can tell you that although it may be cheap inside, it's been in the shop less than my $30k+ Silverado for interior or any other problem. Absolutely no squeaks or shakes inside. If you're speaking about looks alone- beauty is on the eye of the beholder I guess. Not saying I love the looks inside of our Caliber by any means.....

No offense to your ride, you may have gotten a good one, but I was in a rental caliber two weeks ago, could not believe all of the plastic flash on class-A surface parts, the utterly laughable performance of the CVT, and the general level of meh in the car.

Woodward Av. does not seem the place or time to debut this car. Woodward Av. is about cool musclecars and hotrods. I doubt if anyone dreams of a PT Cruiser.

I am sporting a Jeep Compass this week. I find the interior more appropriate for the Jeep brand. I do not find the Caliber/Compass interior nearly as bad as the Sebring (threw up in my mouth again).
