Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

Storage Bins are only on the Quad Cab, the Regular cab lacks them.

S1 is the second phase of pre-production

S0->S1A->S1B->S2A->S2B->V1 is the order of pre-production.

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

Yeah thats just a typical S1 truck. I saw one with a similar paint job a while back at CTC. Good job to whoever shot those pics the truck does look pretty sharp in full black like that one

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

and i also saw some burnout style skidmarks on the evaluation track as well. I guess some engineers decided to have some fun with the challenger they were probably testing. and the storage bins on the bed are an ingenious idea ( i wish the sliverado had them first) and dodge (and chrysler in general) have always managed to find a way to effectively make storage space out of practically every inch of a vehicles interior and (as shown with the rams in bed storage bins) exterior as well and for that i commend them. now all Chrysler needs to do is fix the lousy looking interiors and they'll be all set

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

I think he was talking about the behind the seat storage area, if not I am asking, because from the looks of it the seats are back against the back window, where the curent Gen3 trucks have a class leading storage are behind the regular cab seats, at least a domestic class leading storage area, I think Toyo trumped the current Gen3 Dodge, looking at the pics in that thread it looks like the 09' Ram may have lost leg room and storage space behind the seat. One of the main reason I quit driving regular cab GMC long beds and went to dodge was, that storage space and added leg room dodge offered. If Dodge no longer offeres it, then it looks like I am going to get stuck driving Toyos. Does anyone know if that space is gone or is it an illusion casued by possibly longer doors?????

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

Dodge still offers it the ram pictured is just the Ram "sport" model which is a two door. If you want added leg room then you have to get the ram 1500 crew cab. the new ones are not on sale yet but you can go to the dodge website and click on the best ram ever banner and it will take you to the 09 ram section

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

I know they make crew cabs and quad cabs, but the space behind the seat in the current regular cabs is what seems to be missing in the new 09' regular cabs. Dodge's current regular cab has a lot of space behind the seat even if the seat is set all the way back. Starting in 09', not that I want one, dodge is no longer going to offer a long bed (8 foot) in anything but a regular cab, for me that is fine, becasue Regular cab long beds is what I use for work. I know there are some fokes on the dodge forum that are upset that there is no longer a quad cab long bed. But all this is do to the use of only one wheel base for the crew cab 5 foot bed, quad cab 6 foot bed and regular cab 8 foot bed all use the same wheel bases. The only other wheelbases offered in the new 09 is the short box regular cab.

Sounds like they hired some of GMs brass, no? LOL There is a company that currently works through Dodge dealers and will take a 3/4 ton mega cab and extend the frame for a long bed. The truck looks AWESOME!! Warranty applies as well.

Re: 09 ram r/t mule??

It does, you can get a Hemi in any Ram truck you want. The R/T is supose to be pretty quick, something like 6 sec 0-60 times, I think I read or herd the chrysler spokes people say something to that effect in one of there anouncememnet videos.

Well i may wait and see how the 09 R/T looks and runs if they do have a hemi in the reg cab.

I had plans on doing a LS3 swap in my 08 Colordao reg cab.
