also if you look very closely you can also see what possibly appears to be a mega cab version and two other models on the far right side of the R/T poster

Re: 09 Ram R/T accidentaly revealed by dodge

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any, I haven't seen them yet (and I would we work on the entire DS program).

BTW, that Nitro with the SRT8 badge I saw a few days ago (doesn't sound like a V8). I also saw an Avenger over at FREC, so take that as you will.

Also, that special Challenger (well one of them) that I was alluding too in another thread may be road worthy soon. Look for "quad pipes" on the exhaust.

Re: 09 Ram R/T accidentaly revealed by dodge

We'll see how well it sells with gas the wat it is. Dodge is going full throttle with hi-power gas guzzlers. Are they doing anything at all to "go green"? Seems to me they're gonna repeat whe 70's all over again. Nobody ever remembers the past!!

Thanks for the update Du. I'll keep my eyes peeled for those "quad pipes". However I have to disagree with you on the Nitro. When it drove right past me on the other side of Avon that day the exhaust note i heard coming out of that thing did not sound like any chrysler V6 I know. The exhaust note i heard sounded like that Nitro was packing a V8 under the hood. As for the avenger if they do plan on making an SRT version then go for it IMO the Avenger (in R/T trim) has plenty of potential and a SRT version would help it reach that in no time

It was in the parking lot so he wasn't going fast. If it is a V8 it has to be the 4.7L. The Avenger I think has the 2.0L Turbo from the SRT-4 but I didn't get to look under the hood.

Interesting any noticeably different exterior styling or was it like your typical every day avenger?

I never was a Dodge truck fan. But since GM wont make V8 regcab Colarado, the Dodge R/T may be my only choice.
