Nice job Dodge. Now let's see the 1/4 mile comparison, done bone stock.

Re: 09 dodge ram spanks turdra

Oh brother!

This is just as lame as Toyota of Bellevue having "pull-offs".

It comes down to the driver!

Here's a thought: Make each driver drive each truck 5 times. The drivers alternate vehicles. Each "race" nets the winning driver $100. If the Ram is really the best (and it MAY Be) it'll win probably 4, but at least 3 of the 5 times. This is an absurd demonstration, but I did enjoy the figure 8's at the end!

The Dodge is better looking,
better built,
doesn't have the collapsing tailgate feature,
doesn't have a fake plastic intake,
isn't fitted with a silver and black painted interior from the 70's.....

I wouldn't even be surprised if the Dodge actually has a fully boxed frame....

Dodge Ram >>>>>>>> Tundra

This is fun to watch.

Wow, I guess a Corvette is a pile of poop right? I mean it has a plastic intake. And don't all the new LSx GM V8's have plastic intake manifolds?

Ah, good to see your typical contribution to an otherwise stellar thread.
You are completely off topic.
You obviously have no clue as to which crappy piece of Tundra plastic to which I refer.
And your point is?

lol, so you're talking about the plastic piece in the middle of the upper chrome piece running horizontal? "Fake intake" I get it...lol

Yes, it's stupid.

But they don't all have it either.

Hahahaha. Stupid crapyota.
Was there even a competition to begin with? Dodge should seriously make this into a commercial...with the same insulting punchline...

Re: 09 dodge ram spanks turdra

Well, it was from a Dodge dealership, so it's probably not something to take as proof. I guess we'll have to wait a bit until some owners can get them to a track.

It'd be hilarious if the Tundra won at an event held by a Dodge dealership though.

Hold on a second there. The Ram has its coil spring setup wich contributes to its better handling. The new Ram is really good for the people that just buy pickups for show. I actually like it though. So, is the new ram a sporty truck people mover? Is the Tundra more work truck than sports car? Notice the announcer says "We see Tundra competing in straigh lines" or something like that. There advertisement is handling. Still, good point.

P.S. Those donuts sucked. Get me behind the wheel and i'll show you how to swing that ram.

Re: 09 dodge ram spanks turdra

I see how it is.

When the Vortec Max Silverado is the fastest production half ton pickup, then everyone knows speed matters.

When the Nissan Titan is the fastest production half ton pickup, then everyone knows speed does not matter.

When the Toyota 5.7 is the fastest production half ton pickup, then we all know speed still doesn't matter.

When the 2009 Dodge Ram is the fastest production half ton pickup, then everyone knows speed matters.

Thanks for clearing this up for me, guys.
