HOW DARE YOU IDIOTS KEEP ON MOCKING FORD FOR ALL THEY HAVE DONE!! Well EXCUSE ME! No ones perfect. The GT had a recall SO WHAT! At least Ford has a decent supercar. What does GM have? LINT!
GM is nothing but a copycat!! Look at the recently unveiled Torana TT36 concept. It "borrows" Ford Motor Company design cues. How dare those fools assosciate this glorified Vectra with one of the Aussies most famous cars! The headlights are ripped off the Focus. The taillights are copied from the Fiesta Sedan, the body structure is the same as the C1 platform, again from the focus. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT STAR WARS INSPIRED ONE MILLENIUM AGO INTERIOR OR THAT CRAPPY GAY PINK EXTERIOR!! Um, can GM make anything original?? So it will only be made as a Chevy and probably a Pontiac. Hahahaha, prepare for one of the crappiest cars ever! ![]() |

Re: Ford Rocks Suckers!
Keep your cool, fordsta. This may be the pro-Ford section of GMI but that "no-flaming" disclaimer I assume goes both ways; pro-Ford opinions can be freely expressed but that shouldn't be construed as a free pass to defame GM or anyone else. Criticism of Ford's competition is fine if it is presented in a rational manner with supporting evidence. Simply saying that GM "copies" Ford because certain cars may have similar styling elements or that GM can't make anything to compete with the GT isn't going to convince anyone about anything unless you can back up your claims substantively.

Re: Ford Rocks Suckers!
Wow. Captain Ford zooms in out of nowhere and convinces us GM-zombies that Ford is better. I mean I know I'm convinced... who can argue with someone who compares cars to lint?!?

Re: Ford Rocks Suckers!
To moderators: THIS is why I worry about having a big Ford forum here. We'll have every Ford punk on the web over here. I'm not trying to insult all our pro-Ford members, most of whom are really good contributors, and I know that we have more than our share of GM punks here. However, attracting tons of people from a rival brand into this forum is asking for lazerwizardesque flame wars all over the site.

Wow...Torana looks like a Ford car eh? GM not original huh? Yeah..I forgot that the Mustang doesnt copy off the first generation, the Tbird isn't a modern copy of the first ones, same for the Ford GT, and lets not forget the Earth-Moving, Planet Aligning design of the 500 that has just taken the world by storm. Its people like this that make me want to double my meds.

Re: Ford Rocks Suckers!
to be honest I do find the Torana derivative of the Ford Mondeo/Focus in Europe, but the Fords are derivitave of some other car also. But who really cares what is derived from what because the Euro Focus and Aussie Torana look good. It doesnt seem to bother the Japanese to copy, and look where they are.
