As far as I know, they don't. They have Ford Credit for people who want to finance a new car through them but Ford doesn't offer a credit card for general use or any kind of system for building up cash toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.

Ford is focused on "the main thing".
'13 Chrysler 300 AWD, '14 Expy EL,'09 Escape Hybrid and shopping for a sports car.
    Good night and good luck.

    Re: Ford Credit Card

No, Ford had a credit card years ago (back when the GM card started), but it got dropped long ago (before 2000 I belive). It was renamed Citi Drivers Edge and was no longer tied to Ford (or any brand).

The card wasn't good for Ford from a business perspective. All it did was give customers extra rebates on the "hot" product rather than helping sell slow moving product.

Ford would have much better luck sending GM card holders a coupon toward the purchase of a Ford (limited to the models Ford needs to move with extra incentives) instead of doing another credit card.

I used it back in 2000 when I purchased a new Mustang GT. Was basically similar to the GM card. Like someone pointed out it was discontinued.

Why are you posting all over this forum and the general internet requesting GM card points and are now asking about Ford credit cards?

In order for people to "sell" points to you, they have to add you as a user on their card. That is a HIGHLY risky move that could potentially expose people to fraud.

Why don't you just get a GM card and earn your points like the rest of us? The manner in which you're conducting yourself is questionable.

Well since you are set, Buick61's advice is directed to your "friends". Reviewing all your posts, you are phishing. Now we aren't going to put you on our credit card, we are going to put your "friends" name on!?

    Re: Ford Credit Card

I had the ford card and accumulated around 700 points. I never used them to buy a ford. I preferred GM products..so used the GM card for years.

The ford Drivers edge card did come in handy as the card morphed into a maintaince card that paid for service items like oil changes and new tires....

Of which I went through over the years of corvette ownership...

Brought new meaning to the term "burning rubber" and enjoying every minute of it!

Thanks to the Citibank drivers edge card..

Sadly...they discontinued that service and maintaince redemption system just last march and turned into some nonsense thank you point system that prompted me to stop using their drivers edge card completely..

I believe it was the new credit card rules that make all credit cards less profitable for the banks that has done away with most decent rebate programs..

GM's program is still pretty good though and I still have that card..
