"Death Wish" unfulfilled.

A clapped out Crown Vic is "good"?

Had it been a newer car Mr. Drew likely would have been unable to afford it, and may have avoided this incident of DUI (and of outright stupidity) altogether.

I once saw an 18 wheeler going 70mph rear end a Buick Park Avenue that was stopped at a red light. The driver was on his way home from just purchasing the car. While there was not a whole lot left of the car, all 4 occupants walked away. After being checked out at a local hospital, the driver promptly went back to the dealership, and purchased another Park Avenue.

I've seen a lot of Impala (WBody mostly) shredded, mangled and unrecognizable. Nearly all have walked away with minor injuries. I love both my 03 and 12 Impalas and always feel safe while driving them even if, God forbid, something did happen.
