Few quotes that stood out about the GT
In the league of naturally aspirated muscle cars, the new Mustang GT is in a league of its own.
To answer the million-dollar question: Yes, it's quicker than both the 426-horsepower Chevy Camaro SS (4.5, 12.9 at 110.7) and the 425-horse Dodge Challenger SRT-8 (4.6, 13.1 at 108.4).

In terms of handling, the same can be said of the GT. Both its lateral acceleration (0.94 g) and figure-eight time (25.3 seconds at 0.75 g) are superior to those of the our best SS (0.90, 25.8 at 0.80) and SRT-8 (0.87, 26.74 at 0.679).

Let the floodgates filled with bitter tears open... GMI will be fun tomorrow

Anyway, i watched the Insideline video... The handling numbers are still impressive but there is still a bit too much body roll for my liking and dive under heavy braking. the nose dive under heavy braking is still really quite bad. It's almost like the front is going to bounce off the ground! That the only that i really dont like right now.

    I love that engine "cover".

Seriously, everything about the 2011 is coming up win.
Just that time again to ignore certain people. I'm certain they will continue to try and instigate and antagonize while throwing up their arms saying they did nothing but are here on a civil basis. Not worth the time seeing how some just seem to know all.

Yea, I dont think those are the standard rims. They are far too big and guady.

I even like the valve covers. "powered by ford"

    From Autoblog.com v6 review

Not to overstate things, but the four-wheel independently sprung Camaro felt prehistoric compared to the lighter and more sprightly Mustang. Actually, the Camaro's ponderousness helped it out on Ford's track, as it was a second gear affair (meaning nothing but quick turns and big braking zones), but even on the broken asphalt the cars were running over, we much preferred the Mustang's moves and prowess to the frankly clunky, chunky Camaro.

Blasphemy... IRS of any kind is hands down better than SRA of any kind over any kind of bumps or imperfections. This is FACT!!!!

I dont know if you know this but if you hit a bump mid corner in a SRA Mustang YOU WILL DIE!!!!!

It's not going to be that bad on GMI... These numbers have been expected for a while. Competition is a good thing... The only problem is, the Mustang still looks ho-hum, while the Camaro's styling is dynamic... Sales should continue to be close...

It all means jack **** until the Mustang passes the Camaro on the scoreboard. That is, monthly sales. And that may happen, no doubt, but people sitting on here talking incessantly about a car they will likely never drive, and if they do drive, won't be able to drive at its limits gets sort of old and pointless.
