Re: Current Contest #95: Results!

To all of those that said my car (D) was at the wrong angle, I'm sorry but I don't see it.
My greenhouse tapers in, as it goes further back.
From overhead, the greenhouse would be a teardrop shape.
above the rear fenders (or haunches) is an intake.

Re: Current Contest #95: Results!

Boy, that was close! Great contest and great entries from Bot and Rex.

We've been having a lot of fun with real Solstices, have 12 delivered now including what was probably the first Z0K in New England. They're a neat car, but still find myself thinking it needs a small block.

Anyway, thank you for all the votes.

totally, it looks like its meant to (tapered greenhouse), but theres just some thing not right somewhere else on the car that makes it look like some angles are wrong. actually I think its the view through the front windscreen that might throw it off or the fact the side mirror is alittle too far back. what are the intakes going into the back for? can't be mid engine with that short back and long front.

PS- I voted for this car, clean PS work.
the top of the side intake should have met where the hood and front fender meet (rather than meeting the pontiac logo)

Re: Current Contest #95: Results!

Thanks for everyone's support! Great effort from everyone and more the merrier.

Prov & Rex, kudos to your works. Always great company.

This was a fun one because I already liked the Sol's form. So change was constrained, Alfa's sexy coupe top was a natural fit and extended the hood proportion & slimmed down the grill openings. No backgrounds for a change.

Till next, if I could only follow the rules .

i think the passenger's side A-pillar is a bit too far towards the front, maybe that's why it looks off.

CF...... The headlights are from the Alfa 8c prototype. Once I stretched down and pulled back the front end they fit in perfectly. I really like the look they create.
