Contest: #91: Holden Cruze - Contest Closed
Take the picture below and modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc...
The changes can be serious or silly. The changes don't have to make the car more desirable, they just have to make it different. You are showing off your creativity and your chopping skills. You must use the original picture as your starting point. Try to keep some semblance of the original pic. Only 1 entry per person, and NO revisions. Once you've entered, that's your entry. Chopping is anonymous!: Do NOT post your images here in this thread. Instead, E-mail them to: sales@sub500.com. Do not send a link to the picture. Send the picture itself. Please send it in JPG format. Please do not write your name anywhere in your picture. In your e-mail (but not your picture) please include your user name, even if you think that I know who you are. You have until Thursday at Midnight to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away. Quality takes time. Voting will start on Friday. Same rule in effect. If you enter, you MUST vote. Contestants that do not vote will be penalized. Here's the pic to modify: ![]()

I've got a good idea, and I had it mostly completed. Then my software crashed.

Here is a review. Is this small Holden a big mistake? Joshua Dowling Friday June 7 2002 ![]() Australia's number-one brand is riding an unprecedented wave – but, says Joshua Dowling, with a controversial new model the maker may have altered its formula for success. Is this small Holden a big mistake? The Holden Cruze is not just another new car. It could mark a major turning point for Holden. For better – or worse. Holden is attempting to break new ground by bridging the gap between small cars and 4WDs with a curiosity called the Cruze. But, having built its reputation with a strong locally built large-car line-up, supported by premium small and medium cars from Europe, the maker has turned to Japan for the Cruze. The "crossover" car, based on a Suzuki Ignis (see below), promises to handle light 4WD duties. It defies pigeonholing but is perhaps best described as Holden's answer to the Daihatsu Terios. Australians have yet to embrace boxy Japanese small cars. Whether Holden will succeed where other makers have failed has attracted plenty of interest among industry rivals. The Daihatsu Move and Suzuki Wagon R were both sent packing from Australian dealerships after failing to spark interest. If Holden... Continued:http://www.drive.com.au/editorial/ar...x?id=3384&vf=1

It was released at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. Have a look at: http://www.autointell-news.com/News-...r-24-01-p2.htm To quote part of the website: "Tokyo - General Motors Japan Limited (GM Japan) and Suzuki Motor Corporation (Suzuki) announced today that they will market the Chevrolet Cruze, a jointly developed compact lifestyle vehicle, beginning November 1 through GM Japan’s GM AutoWorld sales channel and Suzuki’s ARENA sales channel. The Chevrolet Cruze will be marketed exclusively under the Chevrolet nameplate." Except for using the Holden name in Australia. You're not confusing it with the Suzuki Ignis? |
