Thanks for everyone's votes.

It's been awhile since I've done one. Summer vacations & all.

The quality of work has steadily increased. Vets (Rex & Prov, continue your rule.) and newbies contribute for an interesting series of chops.

I'd like to see more knowledgeable & enthusiastic members try their handiwork on these contests. I got PS just to get on this forum.

Till next.

Re: Current Contest #107: Results

Your comment means alot to me.

I've read car designers' & design directors discuss about their design themes especially about the 'face' or the headlight/intake grille/bumper fascias. They spend so much time looking at the front or front 3/4 views creating their characters. I appreciate this energy. But for all the time spent I've spent on the freeways & byways, the majority point of view of most vehicles are from the back! Besides car shows, I see alot of new car designs, albeit with bra/body disguises on the road (I'm on SoCal freeways) and I would trail 'em and enjoy from the back. I'm probably not alone but I've educated' my eyes to spot the particular make of the car by its rear light design. Night time carspotting has to be the unspoken art/skill for most car design aficionados.

So with this one, lets enjoy the view where I would usually see 'em.

Highway night games:

(LA to Vegas run)
...I can name that car...in 2.5 miles.
...I can name that car...in 3 miles!
Name that car!

Down shift, floor that pedal & get close (close enough to read the state's plates, another game).
