    Stealth Security and starter relay

When I bought my 2003 Z71 Tahoe, the dealer recommended a Stealth Security cut off system which I purchased. 8 Years later, one transmitter is lost and the other is about to go. I cantacted Stealth who state that they do not manufacture he system anymore and are unable to sell me additional transmitters. They told me to simply replace the starter relay under the hood and that it should take 30 seconds. I cant find the starter relay. There is no mention in the manual. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Fuse block under hood, drivers side. Look for the relay that has the little wire/antenna hanging off of it. They are usually grey as compared to the other black ones. On the back of the fuse block cover there is a diagram listing the relays and fuses, one relay should be labled starter. Just replace it with a standard relay and you are good to go.

We yank those anytime we seem them, nothing but trouble.

A system that easy to defeat.

Gives you a lot of confidence in the product, doesn't it?

Well, it is a cheap, easy way to slow them down. If you were stealing a car, and the first couple of tries didnt get it going, you wouldnt want to hunt around for some sort of
kill switch, just move on to the next.
