Ok, first let me say that I really enjoy the 2009 Impala I just bought. Probably the best domestic vehicle I've owned yet. That said, it does have *one* issue that's bugging me. Yes, I know this is pretty minor, but that's a good thing...this is it's ONLY issue so far.
Anyway, there is a squeak when I hit some, but not all bumps. Kind of like a rattle, but higher pitched like a squeak. Sounds like it's coming from the back seat area, but I'm not positive. I've tried re-seating the foldable back seats to see if they just weren't "locked in" but that didn't get rid of the problem.
I know that it would be really hard for the dealership to find and remedy said squeak, and I'd feel a bit silly taking it in unless I know specifically what's squeaking. So, any suggestions from any techs as to areas to look at first for squeaks? That is, "repeat offenders" on this vehicle?
Thanks in advance...
