Unhappy Shifting problem

Hey folks,

I have a 1993 GMC 1500 pickup and just recently my truck decided that it did.t want to downshift anymore. From a stop if shifts fine, but once you get to a hill or try to accelerate it just rev's like it is in neutral. im hoping that its just a relay or a vacuum line or something, since i really cannot afford a new tranny. If anybody has any tips or information that might help me i would greatly appreciate it!!!

Thanx for your time,
TimberhawK

Re: Shifting problem

Doesn't sound like a TV problem, but you may try adjusting the cable anyways. It's at the throttle body. Will have a d shaped button. Press that and push the cable all the way in. Go inside the truck and gently push the pedal to the floor. It will ratchet out.

You may also have a 2/4 servo leaking hydraulically.
