Rusting Caliper

I have a 2007 Mazda3 bought new. My front driver's side caliper is rusting would this be covered under the warranty? Bumper to bumper is 3 years or 36 months.

Re: Rusting Caliper

You should read your warranty coverage booklet and talk to your dealer. Good luck.

Re: Rusting Caliper

Are you sure you only have 3 yr/36k? Our Mazda that we bought in 2000 had 5yr/60k bumper to bumper. You might want to double check.

Re: Rusting Caliper

GMC is right, if it is just cosmetic then the dealer will tell you too bad.

Now if the caliper is locking up because of the rust, then you have something.
