    Road Noise

    I love my 2012 Chevrolet Equinox but the road noise drives me nuts when I am on fresh graveled roads or rough pavement. What can I do to quiten it?

    You can undercoat it, but that may void the rust-through warranty.

    I agree...avoid gravelled roads?

    Go slower when you do?

    Glad to hear you enjoy your Equinox from all other prespectives...

    Gravelled or rough roads by their very nature..........

    I did put a product called block it in my vette..it lays down in the trunk area in about 2 seconds and behind my seats...It cut down on the sound harmonics of the hatchback in my vette..

    Probably weighs a couple of pounds but can be removed in seconds ...

    10 decibel reduction I believe stated from the manufacturer..

    It helped long drives become more enjoyable for not a lot of money or effort..

    Not sure if it would help you...but worth a shot.

    Purchase a new set of Michelen brand tires.

    Drive down gravel roads faster...in my Subaru they're like a world championship rally course
