Replacement of 2000 Blazer rear wiper motor

Question. How hard is the replacement of the rear wiper motor on a 4door Blazer? The wiper is getting stuck pointing straight up on the rear glass, so I believe it needs replaced. GMCSomona, do you have any diagrams perhaps? Anybody else have any input on how hard it could be? Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas.

That helps greatly. Only I can't view any of the pictures you attached, which would probably help more. Thanks.

Re: Replacement of 2000 Blazer rear wiper motor

not too hard to do, just remove your rear trim panel from the rear hatch, then disconnect the nut from the motor, and remove the wiper arm assembly, then disconnect your motor and remove the screws and install the new one

Re: Replacement of 2000 Blazer rear wiper motor

OK, I am having problems again. The new "refurbished motor" didn't last long, and I think I might just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. Since the pictures seem to be missing, could someone repost? Thanks.

Re: Replacement of 2000 Blazer rear wiper motor

Thanks for the pictures. Was going to do it over the holiday weekend, but got sidetracked. The other issue I am having is with the interior trim panel. Originally, I got a friend to take it off for me (as I was afraid of breaking it). Now, I can't seem to figure out how it removes without breaking the clips. Sorry to sound so stupid, but pictures would probably help with that also. Thanks again.
