Radio Stays On

When I came out from work today I get in my car and I noticed my radio display is lit...with the keys in my hand.

I open the door again...still on. The radio and CD player both work. Surprisingly after 9 hours like this (full work day) the car started up fine. I drive home and it is still like this, so I pulled the radio fuse.

Any ideas what's going on? I'll be bringing it in under warranty definitely but I am just curious. If it means anything it has been raining the ENTIRE day (and yesterday). I didn't see any leaks or something but it is really humid.

Re: Radio Stays On

I had that happen with my GP a few times. Normally as soon as you open your door the radio automatically goes off. If it doesn't the only way I got it to go off is close my door, restart the car, turn it off, and get back out. Kinda weird that it happens but I probably had that happen 3 or 4 times in several years.

Re: Radio Stays On

It seemed to have fixed it self today...I think it was the moisture messing something up.

An interesting thing to note is that under my cup holder insert (a rubber piece) there was a ton of condensation under it. And I know it wasn't anything I did because I haven't had a drink in there for a while.
