need to make sure store has wipers that actually work

about that pesky 94 camaro wipers.

Oh so let me start by saying I got my oil pan retapped, originally was going to put a new one on but by retapping I was able to save the pan. No leaks. But when the local tires plus store did that they apparently cannot install the proper wipers on the car.

If I put my wipers at 12 o'clock and shut turn off the ignition, from half the wiper to the front edge is lifting off the windshield. I'm like wtf, am I supposed to drive in the middle of the car or stick my head out the window? So I go to them and they have to order the wipers from chevy. Ok no problem 3 1/2 weeks have passed and still no wipers. I'm getting a little tired of this, especially when they said they shouldn't take long. Then they said that chevy dealer had to order them since they didn't have them. A week ago they said they'd have them the beginning of the week. Still nothing.

So after this I'm starting to think, will autozone audio or discount auto parts have the wipers they will not lift itself up from half the windshield and will they install them. My dad hated installing them since they are different than the way most other cars have wipers installed on them.

Off topic, but anyone have recommendations on seat covers online I may order? I recently put on new sunvisors and a headliner so it looks much better than it did.

I've never been a fan of the AutoZone type parts store or a TiresPlus outlet...God Bless them, they are trying to make a buck, but their lack of experience & training really reflects...I see it everyday.

As for Camaro parts...try these folks...not cheap-but you get what you pay for!

If you want wipers that fit and want them quickly, go to your nearest GM dealer and order them. They should have them within 1-2 days.

Anco makes a wiper that is designed for the Camaro.....22-24 is the part number...or trico 14-220 I think..... Any decent parts store should have either part. These part numbers are substantially taller in the center to compensate for the arm on a Camaro hooking up from the bottom of the blade.
