Intermittent Voltage Drop
1996 Park Avenue, 190,000 miles.
I am experiencing intermittent voltage drops. Sometimes the drop causes the battery light to come on. This has been going on for months. No problem with the car starting. I have changed the battery and the alternator as well as a speed sensor (trouble code). Mr. Goodwrentch can't figure it out. I know it is not the guage as the lights dim when the voltage drops. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Re: Intermittent Voltage Drop
How do all the grounds look? Focus on the negative battery terminal and follow everywhere it goes. I'd remove the bolts, and clean the contact points with a wire brush.
