GMC Fuel Pressure drop
1998 GMC K2500 7.4L EFI. Hard starting prolonged cranking, poor power on hard acceleration. Fuel pressure runs at 55 PSI. (Book says 56 - 62 PSI), drops to 40 PSI when I turn the key off, then slowly ( 1 minute) slides to 20. 55 PSI when running.

Re: GMC Fuel Pressure drop
The 56 lbs is the absolute lowest it will stand, and run correctly. It needs to be somewhere in the middle to high on the pressure range.
