Thats because the Fords sit more due to them being broken down.

As far as fuel pumps go, i have seen many more GM's go then ford's. GM seems to have quite a bit of trouble in this area. Mostly GM trucks....Not to mention fuel sender failures and faulty reading fuel gauges due to the sender. rare i see a ford in the local shops for pump failures or fuel sender problems. Gm has the most failures out of the big 3

The pump sets in a sump, so makes no difference the fuel level. The pump is always covered with fuel, keeps it cool and from blowing up.
Would be dumb to make a fuel tank that you could only use half or 3/4. |
