'99 Sierra 1500 Classic

Hey guys,
I searched and couldn't find the answer, I am sorry if this has been asked.

I am trying to find a bumper for my '99 Sierra 1500 classic, but I don't know whether to get a '99+ bumper or the '98 bumper because it is a classic.

Please let me know!
Also, how hard would it be to replace the bumper myself?

Thanks in advance.

Front or Rear bumper?

99+ Bumper (GMT-800) will not work on 88-98, 99-00 Classics (GMT-400).

Front bumper.

So does the '99 Classic use the same parts the '98 uses?

I would guess yes. Your truck looks idendentical to a 1998 one, right?

If the Classic body style is the same as 1998, then yes.
