2008 Impala HVAC Customer Satisfaction Campaign
The NHTSA web site show a Customer Satisfaction Campaign for the 2008 Impala with the manual, dual-zone HVAC system, to improve heating and cooling. The bulletin number is 08266 and involves reprograming the system by a dealer.
Does anyone know what vehicle identification numbers are affected by this bulletin? I own a 2008 Impala LTZ, manufactured in October 2007, and purchased new in November 2007, with this system. Earlier in the year, my wife complained several times that the a/c did not cool well. We attributed it to the hot, humid weather. I suspect that this will correct the problem, but I have not received a letter yet. Thank you in advance. |

Re: 2008 Impala HVAC Customer Satisfaction Campaign
check with a GM dealer, if possible. they can look up the VIS on it, and see if it has any open recalls or special policies that pertain to the vehicle.
