^^^^^^^ Did that to my mothers 06 Cobalt. Fun part was finding someone that could understand the directions with a tech2 to turn it on.....
Poor guy, took him 4 hrs, but he finally got it and only charged $75 to do it. Works great.
18" Polished Cobalt SS/SC wheels, LED tails, Recon 48 LED running board lights/signals, Turbo Tech rear 1" sway bar.
Put a brick on the gas pedal
Wouldn't lodging a cinder block against the accelerator pedal be cheaper and a whole heck of a lot more fun?
On hers' they had to go into the PCM and find the "file" for the cruise and change it from off to on. She picked some local yokle someone recommended to her since he had the right scanner. But he had never done one before. ANd she told me he was determined to figure it out.
It's all good, it worked and she is happy to have cruise.

That's not standard on the Cobalt? I'm assuming this is a base model if it is.
It shouldn't be hard at all, just be prepared to find help if you don't understand it!!
Does anyone know where in I could get cruise control installed in my Cobalt. I know it would cost a small fortune if I went to the Chevy Dealer-- but in Buffalo, NY does anyone know of any place to go and have it installed??
