1998 Chevrolet W/T 1500 Replacement Mirror

Okay I've been searching around google, Advanced auto parts, autozone. They have the whole side view mirror replacement but I don't want to spend 40+ when I can find replacement glass. The thing is I don't know what style glass, or if they even make the replacements anymore.

Thats the mirror, can anyone help?

I'm not sure they still do, but we used to have just the glass at the dealership. Get the VIN and call yours.

Spend as little as a $1 and go to a junk yard. I'm sure you can find one pretty easily! My brother in law had his break off in a car wash and got one real cheap at a junkyard.

It's likely that's the DE2 rpo code mirror...same as the electric version D48....very common on later 400 serioes trucks.

I know NAPA & Carquest can get them as well as seeing them on eBay...

Otherwise the cheap way for a straight mirror, non-convex...visit a glass shop!

Might want to invest in a new radio antenna as well!
