1995 Monte Carlo Z34 PCV

Hey guys, I'm going to replace the PCV valve on my 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 (3.4L DOHC)

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where it is. I did peak under the hood but i didn't have too much time to look, but im sure its not in a super nice place like my truck or my gf's grand am... nothing with this car is easy! lol

I followed a line that connects to the upper intake plenum, and it goes underneath the cover that says 3.4L DOHC, and goes down by the injectors... i'll pull that off easily and check tomorrow if nobody responds.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity....have you replaced the upper and/or lower intake parts on your 3.4L by any chance??

The upper intake gasket is new. (they like to go bad...)

Re: 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 PCV

Ok well I was wrong, you have to follow the line that plugs into the left of the intake plenum, its on the upper right part next to the intake pelnum. (basically right next to the Transmission dipstick.) Its down below though, easy to remove, tricky to put back in.

Got 27mpg this weekend (300 mile + round trip.) That sure beats 12mpg with my truck!

I bought an intake for it, that should be coming the end of this week. It's got a K&N filter.

I washed and waxed it this past friday before the trip.

The brakes are working great!

I'll post pics when I get the intake on.
