Question '07 Buick Allure Heated Mirror

Just discovered my power driver side mirror's heat doesn't heat. Passenger side and defrost work. Mirror moves, just doesn't heat.

So before I jump in, do I just pop off the glass and check the connections?

If connections are solid, is it safe to assume the heater element is shot?

    Hi Nochnoi Dozor,

As a Customer Service representative, I'm not able to provide much in the way of do-it-yourself information, but I do hope that you get some great feedback from the forum. If you have any questions about recalls or warranty information, or wanted our assistance in locating and working with a dealership, I recommend calling the Customer Assistance Center nearest you. When I investigated, I found that GM of Canada agents are available via phone hotline at 800-263-3777, M-F 7:30am - 11:30pm, Sat 7:30am - 6:00 EST.

    Best,

    Katie

Sorry, but the dealer$ are my very last resort as I prefer to tackle it myself.
